My wife has a '99 Cherokee, today she went shopping and the power windows wouldn't work and the radio was black. She went in the store and came out and the windows started working and the radio was back on. Then the windows went off and the radio went out again.

Hmmmmmmm.............is the radio ran through the window breakers???

I gotta get it in and see if I can find the problem, any help would be appreciated.

My wife has a '98 with a similar problem. Only her's just effects the windows. I think it may be a defective child lock switch, because the driver can always operate all windows. If she's driving I have to ask her to put my window down.

my power windows went out bam just like that. I tore apart everything and i have power to all my parts that need it so why would they just quit?

mine did that and i had a short in my door. every time i shut or close my door it would do it . check all your wires coming from the door. :naughty:
