When I am turning my vehicle to the left or right in tight turns the tires seem to want to fight and pull back from the turn. Let me try to be more specific..while turning, the front tires seem to want to jerk back to the left while I am turning a sharp right or while turning a sharp left they seem to want to fight back to the right. I am totally lost about what maybe causing this. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, VJW

no, my vehicle is not in 4wd while I am making these turns. Why do you ask? Actually, I did drive my vehicle on city streets in 4 wd during snow and ice storms in Colorado. The problem I am having now is while it is out of 4 wd though. ? Confused. VJW

I think this is pretty normal under slow turning conditions.

Also, check your tire pressure.

The wheel snapping back to the straight ahead position is a normal (and mandatory) design safety feature of all vehicles. Worn/rounded tires, or over inflated tires can worsen this 'feature'. If you have stock sized tires on your rodeo, try to follow the tire pressure recommendations on the drivers side door jamb label (should be around 26psig IIRC). Dont ever exceed the max design pressure stamped on the tires themselves (usually 32psig for passenger car tires).
