2002 Venture Headlights a Little Weak?

Has anyone else felt that their Venture headlights are a little weak and what have you done to improve them?

What I did was to put in Sylvania's Silverstar bulbs. But all I notice is that the light color is more blue/white but not really brighter.

Anyone put in driving lights on their Ventures? If so, what brand and how easy/difficult?

I have a 1998 with the same problem. The headlights absolutely suck. I put in the brightest (illegal) replacements available. This helped a little but not a lot.

I would also like to know if anyone has found a replacement or a better way to go.

I replaced my bulbs with the 9004XV (extra Vision) and they are quite a bit brighter and help. They aren't blue, but I wasn't looking for blue, i was looking for brighter. I also added a diode & relay on the low beams to allow them to be on as well when you switch to the high beams, and now I can see the road very well on high.
