It's still no 996 GT3 MK2 though.

the 996, design wise it's just wrong to begin with, sporting a boxster front. what were they thinking. :shakehead on the hand the 997 is the best ever design from porsche next to the 993. you can think of this design as a 993 with a 996 slant.

I know what you mean, but i see the 997 as a 996 with a touch of 993. By that i mean the rear is still too high up and the body is still not as curvaceous as the 993. Still, a definite improvement on the 996 :thumbsup:
