I have a 1995 two wheel drive Tahoe that clunks when it comes to a complete stop. The clunk sound comes for the rear of the truck. I have checked the u-joints, rear axle, leaf springs, and shackles. The sound is driving me crazy! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the input shaft from the drive line going into the back of the tranny might be the next thing to check; there a couple of issues with these in these Tahoes. Both are not too bad to correct. Peruse this forum archive for more info, advise, etc.: http://forums.vmag.com/suvtahyuk0301/
