Anyone else have issues with their low fuel light going on too soon?

My light seems to go out when I still have plenty of gas left. It's gone on twice for me this month already, and both times after filling up to full I was only able to put in about 16,17 gallons.

Problem is low fuel sensor intank.It is part of the sending unit.
