Found some decent looking ebay auctions, but wonder if their products are any good. Found an intake with K&N filter for $70 before shipping. Found this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7939029572&isPrinterFriendly=1#ebayphotohosting its the whole link. It looks good, but what kind of quality and fitment do you think this has? Im on a budget is why I was looking at this. Any feedback helps. Thanks

Im not trying to sell exhaust here, but do you guys have anything to say about this exhaust? Is a 3" system too big or too un-restrictive? I've heard that too big of an exhaust can actually hurt a vehicles performance. Let me know what you guys think. I need a decent exhaust for cheap, my Cherokee has an exhaust leak and I need to add some hp to the lil' 4.0L.

you will lose a lot of torque with a 3" system. 2 1/2 is the biggest i would do. especially on a 4.0L. I would recommend a borla muffler as well...

I bought the K&N intake for my Jeep and it's better to spend your money on the real K&N intake setup. It sounds stronger with this one on, but there is no heat shield and they give you a soft connection boot instead of the sturdy one that comes factory. If you want, I'll sell you mine for $50 and I just bought it and installed it this month. So it's still practically brand spankin' new.

Audiobahn77, what would make you sell your K&N, especially if you just bought it? Just curious!

because there is no heat shield with it, and the connection to the throttle body isn't very stiff so it sags down a little bit. I am basically holding it firm with a zip tie. It works, but it's kind of ghetto if you ask me. You can see what it looks like on my Cardomain website. Same username on there that I use here.

I know what you mean, I'm currently using a simialr setup! As far as sagging, my setup came w/a metal piece which I installed to an existing bolt that didn't appear to have a purpose. This metal piece extended upward & I placed it in between a rubber piece that wraps around the filter.

So bascially this metal piece prevents sagging & zip ties, & keeps the whole unit from hopping around.

Now I just have to figure out how to create a heat shield?
