Don't get me wrong guys. I know enough not to expect substantial (or even minimal) power gains from these plugs. What I wanna know is are they more reliable than 2-electrode types and will they last really long? I've been surfing around, and the opinions seem mixed.

By the way, these plugs have a fine-wire center electrode, a platinum plate/knob/something on each of the two side electrodes, and fetch around US$30 for a set of four (hmm, that's kinda cheap for Triple Platinums, isn't it? ).

NGK platinums are sadly hard to come by where i come from :( , so any opinions, experiences, suggestions, and/or violent reactions on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Peace. :D

just stick with ngks. thats what oem recommends so must be good. also i heard that platinum plugs don't give you better performance. maybe you should get some denso iridiums but those are hell expensive

Like i said, the NGKs aren't as readily available as i would like.
Like i said, too, performance isn't what I'm expecting; more on reliability and durability. Platinum is more corrosion-resistant, and I read in one review that the twin heads make sure that you get a spark all the time (note: A spark, not 2) just in case one of the electrodes gets dirty.
And, yeah, Denso Iridiums are stupendously expensive.

Splitfire or Bosch are not any better of choices...just order the NGKs from anywhere or even from the Honda dealership if you gotta.
