99 Ram 1500 Regency conversion van, 360, dual a/c, dual heater cores.

How big a deal is it to replace the front heater core? A casual looking around makes me think it can be done from the engine side alone, with no dash pulling required.

Anyone done it?

You're right, but you might have to remove a cover under the dash, and maybe the glove box to get at the mounting nuts, though. I did this repair on an 88, and it wasn't too bad. It took a little over 4 hours, but I wasn't in a hurry.
I removed the hood, though, I'm pretty tall, and I kept knocking my head on it...
