I left the interior light on which drained the battery and now I cannot open the doors or hood to recharge the battery. Followed dealers suggestion of turning key and raising handle at the same time but gave up after 2 hours. AAA cannot open it either and suggest I tow it to dealer. Any suggestions?

As long as the innerds of the door handle/lock cylinders aren't broken..........

Insert the key into the door cylinder.

Pull up HARD on the handle [as if your opening the door].

Turn the key [counterclockwise] to the unlock postion WHILE PULLING UP ON THE HANDLE. This mechanically overrides the microswitches which are the ONLY normal connection you make with the Central Locking System when unlocking the doors.

This is the ONLY way to make a physical connection between the door lock cylinder and the door latch/actuator.

If the left door doesn't work, try the right.

If ALL else fails, it CAN be unlocked with an 'unlocking kit' but some internal damage WILL occur, it probably need attention anyway.
