Hey everybody I got a 2004 Grand Jeep Cherokee special edition and on the electronic vehicle information center it says to perfom service any suggestions on what it could be? or mean? any help will be greatly appriciated.

How do you reset the light w/out going to the dealer

press and hold the SET and SELECT buttons at the same time - i think this is how to reset it or just press and hold the SET button

just hold the reset button for a few seconds

Thanks for the replies I have a friend at the dealership he reset it for me no charge. The vehicle must be cranked with someone in the driver seat. Hit the step button until o miles to service appears, hit reset. A beep will sound and it is done.
