Hey guys i wanna know if there is a way to fix the thing where u usually connect ur cellphones adapter too. (I feel so stupid but i just cant remember the name of it. LOL) Whatever the cigarette thing. Anyways i just bought a car charger for my cellphone and the cigarette lighter thingy doesnt work. my question is, is there a fuse for this? or how can i fix it? Im fairly new at this so sorry for my stupidity.

i can't remember if there is a fuse or not off the top of my head but your owners manual should tell you, look in the fuse section. if the fuse is ok you'll have to check and make sure it's connected in the back, sometimes those fall off cause they're just little slip on connectors.

do you know where the fuse is located? I dont have the case for the fuse box and i dont know which is for which.

I have a 95 Eclipse RS by the way. And just in case it doesnt work, how did you hotwire the charger to ur car????

there is a fuse for it. dont know which one on a 2g but i know it also powers the dome light. so if your dome light works then its not the fuse. its probably corrosion in the cigarette lighter plug. just spray some electrical cleaner in the there and try it again. another thing to do is plug in the charger and spin it back and forth until it works.

Great is just problem after problem!

My battery just completely died and everything was off and when i checked it its that it was a little loose so i pushed it down a little spark sparked but everything powered back on. Now when i turned the car on the light where it shows my MPH and Fuel... etc... doesnt turn on.

U think i blew the bulb or something? How the hell do i take it out to replace it?

God Its just problems after problems. This sucks :shakehead

Your whole cluster guage is out? If ya need to get the cluster out you need to take out the two screws on upper side of outer ring, pull ring out from bottom first..., There are 4 screws, 2 on top and 2 on bottom, that hold the cluster in...remove them and your cluster should just pull out.
It's easy

You hard-wired your cellphone charger into your cigarette lighter, and you're wondering why your battery is dying? Is there an LED on your charger?

so does your cigarette lighter work now?? mine had the same problem when i bought mine off of somebody i believe there is a fuse under the dash that says specifically cig. lighter and i checked it and it was fine so i took off the drivers side panel of the dash (the part down by your feet) and there is a blue and a white wire that plugs into the back of the cig. lighter and my blue one was disconnected so i pluged it in and it works fine. u might want to try that if your cig. lighter doesnt work. but as for the spark thing when u pushed it in i dont know how but it sounds like you blew another fuse. is the fuse in your cig. lighter the right amp???

There is a fuse for the cig. lighter in the fuse box on the left side of the driver's foot well. It may be labeled "Accessory Lighting" or something to that effect. Check the fuse box cover, or your owner's manual.

No i never hot wired the charger, i was just wondering how to do it. And yeah what i noticed is that all the lights in the dashboard are not working. The lights by the AC controller, The whole cluster gause also, so Im not sure if its just the cluster, maybe it was a blown fuse for all the electrical on the inside. Can some1 take a picture of the labels on the fuse box under the steering wheel, I dont have mine and i dont know what fuse is for what.

remember i have a 95 RS so u know what the fuse box should look like.

You probably blew a fuse(s).

To make things simple - CHECK YOUR FUSES!!!
