Im probably planning on putting in a 383 Stroker with a TH350 tranny, but whats the best way to go with converter??? I have looked at B&M's. They seem like they have converters specifically for Th350 transmission. Are those the ones to go with? Any information helps. Thanks Again!!

It depends on what you want to do with the car. B&M is a good choice for converters because they have a wide variety of applications to choose from. For straight race type converters TCI is the better brand to go with. I have also heard good things about Hughes converters but I do not have first hand experience with them. For a street car with a 383 stroker in it I would personally go with a B&M holeshot 2400

Also it has alot to do with the cam you are running and what stall speed the cam calls for. I personally use a B&M holeshot 3000 stall in my 500 horsepower big block Nova and I am very pleased with it.

Actually after looking a bit more you should go with a Tork Master converter. They are quite a bit cheaper. I was going to go with a Tork Master, but they did not make one for a big block. They will work perfect for your street application and are about half as much as the holeshot converters.

Tork Master 2400
2300-2500 RPM Mild Performance Applications, not for big block. Low Priced. Fully Balanced. 130-20404 GM 1965-91 TH-400/425/375 (1), 1968-81 TH-350/375B (2) $149.99

That would be all that you need, and its pretty easy on the wallet as far as converters go.
