Strange one...

Ok, this is a weird one. We have a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The heat seems ok on the feet area, but if we switch it to defrost, or the front vents, there's barely anything. Also, we can hear a sloshing sound while driving coming from the passenger side dash area...

Any ideas? Please?

Check the defrost opening next to windshield, you may have something down in the defrost vents. Dale

Weired question, weired answer:
Did you check if your floor mats are wet or "flooded" beneath?
Reason why I am asking is that on my GJ95 and I believe on many other's the outlet for moisture was clogged. I am not sure what the right term for it is... In my case the vent made the sound that you are describing 'cause the whole vent system was flooded.
If this is the case for you, there are quite many threads around helping on this one.

Just an idea, you may want to check it (I figure these days leaves may have gotten stuck in the system...)

good luck.

I just spoke with the hubby. He said we get lots of air coming out of the top and the front vents, but just not the same heat we get out of the bottom. It's weird. There is no water on the floor/mats.
