truck is buckinglckycharm713 12-01-2004, 10:23 AM can anyone help me out on this. my friends truck bucks when driving. we will be going down the road, and it will buck a few times. feels likes the trannys is slipping. i checked the trans oil, it was low when i first pulled it out, but i put it back in and checked it a few more times wiping it off each time and it was normal. the motor oil leaks alot, that was a little low (hard to check when it was hot). also, when driving at high speeds on the highway its fine. seems like it only happens in lower gears. can anyone help me out on what maybe this could be or what to look at. its has 150K on it. you guys helped me out with alot of other stuff, so thats why im coming to you, THANKS ALOT lckycharm713 12-01-2004, 10:26 AM would this have anything to do with the plugs. maybe one is fowling out. also theres oil that gets in to air filter. coming from the top of the valve cover through that hose that goes into the air box. OverBoardProject 12-01-2004, 11:41 PM I'd do a tune up and see what happens first. Tell him to change the PVC valve which I believe should be somewhere in that line between the air filter, and valve cover. When you check an automatic transmission always check it with the truck running, and when it's hot. Of course be carefull with all those belts turning and everything. autohelper7 12-02-2004, 01:38 AM I'd do a tune up and see what happens first.
