Hello - I'm new here. Just purchased a 95 Buick Roadmaster only because I've always like the last GM rear drives. I'm now learning about the fact that it has this awsome LT1 motor. It does have 120K on it however - what kind of miles have others here put on their Roadmasters?

My '93 wagon has 250,000 and still looks and runs like new. Except for the peeling wood trim.

My mother has a '91 buick roadmaster... TIs got the Lt1 package too. 235,000 and still running Liek it was brand new. (0-60 in 5.1 secs..... not abd, is it?) 12 sec 1/4th mile...

Hi

I have a 95 Roadmaster wagon with 182,000. I have a friend whose family has a flet of 400 taxi cabs they now drive crown vics; but they used to drive a fleet of caprices that has the same engine as the Roadmaster. They told me that it will go 500,000 miles EASILY. I guess yours should be broken in soon then.

Good luck

You sure it's an LT-1? I thought the LT-1 wasn't available until the '94 model year. And what have you done to it to run 12's?

Honestly? Didnt do much to it. I know thats the lt-1... maybe not the original motor... But basicly, simple stuff. My dad put a k&n on it (take it off for the winter). High performance Fram oil filter (srtictly for racing). Dont know much other than that. My dads done most of the stuff to do it. There really high natural fast cars.

No offense, but it would take a lot more than air and oil filters to get even an LT-1 in a 4,000# car into the 12's. My Grand National runs low 12's and it took a little more than filters. Not much, though.
