Hi all,

First let me say that this forum is great. I've gotten so much good info from you all. Secondly, thanks to some of you i was able to figure out part of a problem i had with my 98 Grand Cherokee trying to stall on me when driving about 30-45 seconds after starting the engine. For the record changing spark plugs, wires on the Chero is a pain in the butt! The first plug closest to the bumber takes hands the size of smurfs to get into. But i did it and im feeling proud of myself. Anyway, talk to you guys later im sure, this is my new fav site.

Congats! Feels good doesn't it! Did the plugs solve the problem?

Congrats! I really need to do more work myself, some of it is fairly easy. But with some work, I know my limitations, for example my '95 is in the shop for a rear main seal today.
I don't find the plugs on the '95 to be too bad. it's the *&^% cap, rotor, EGR valve and oil press sending unit that are stuffed at the back..

Jeep is definately running smoother, but it still needs some TLC. Old Distributor Cap is still on tho, couldnt get it removed when i changed the plugs, the 2nd nut holding the cap is being stubborn, but i've got some lube on it to loosen it up. Funny thing tho, my check engine light was on, tried the on/off trick to get the code for the problem, on/off trick didn't work, changed plugs & wires, had fuel injection system flushed and a new coil put in and check engine light went off for a whole 8 hours. Now check engine light is back on.

just take it to autozone ( or your local automoive store. but i know autozone will do it ) and have them check the codes. They will do it for free.
