Scott, are you sure about the # for 4x2 front shocks? I ordered 10% stiffer(was recommended as I have an ARB, but no winch) front shocks and was sent B46-1099-H1. They seem right to me.

And for all you out there that have been wanting this part number, for rear shocks, removed swaybar, and NO rear lift: BE5-6253-H0.

No, I just assimilated the numbers from a bunch of posts on XOC. Although, there were several posts on the subject and everyone seemed to have the same part numbers.

I just checked and verified that I copied the numbers correctly, of course the source may still be incorrect.

Maybe the shocks are recommended for both 4x4 and 4x2. I ordered straight from SLR, so I'm sure they gave me the right shocks.

So for any of you out there ordering shocks for your 4x2, make sure you call SLR to verify you're ordering the right thing. And while your on the phone with them, might as well order them, too. :)

Is anyone running Billstein shocks and the AC lift? I just installed a lift for someone yesterday and they have the stock series Billsteins and he wants to upgrade to longer ones...I assume he should use the 2" longer rears(do these come valved 10/20% more as well?) but don't they make longer front ones? What are the dimensions of the front/rear shocks?

I have the SLR +2" shackles & Rancho AAL's in the rear with the longer (F4-B46-2126-H0, no sway bar, extended shackle) Bilsteins. In front I have the AC lift (A-arms, SAW T-bars) and the stock Bilsteins (B46-1099-H2, not the stiffer ones). I believe Gothamist also has a similar setup and found that the Bilsteins fit fine (if not better, he measured) with this setup and provide a better ride than the Ranchos.

Thanks Chris, I thought that someone said they had longer Billsteins up front...anyone? I should have just checked to see if they were too short when i did the install, maybe they aren't since you could see(and I measured) more downtravel from one side to the other when I finished the one side.

When I got my blistiens from SLR I asked what I would have to replace when I got the lift, he said the fronts were the same you only had to put the longer ones in the rear

I have the AC equipment up-front and I'm running the B46-1099-H2 (10%) shocks. I would go with the 20% versions if I had to do it again to gain a little more dampening. These permit full downward travel of the suspension to the bump stops.

I'm running with the AC lift components and the Bilsteins. 20% stiffer up front, and the longer ones in the rear. No problems here.
