First of all do I use the green kind? And secondly do i fill the engine resivrior or the radiator?

Green, and is this a flush/drain, or just adding fluid? If you're just adding fluid to bring it to 'cold' then go through the resivoir. If you just did a drain/flush, then go through the fill neck.

I have a low coolants light on , and the radiator and resivrior appear to be empty. and i dont know what flsushing means. so im assuming its just a fill. so just fill the resivrior to cold?

Fill it to cold with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water, then run around in the car for a few hours. When it cools back down, recheck the level and add again if neccesary.

just out of curiosity, why is the radiator empty? Did you empty it or is the car losing it somewhere?

im thinking im losing it some where. also its pretty cold here. so is 50/50 mix a good idea, or should i use straight antifreeze?

you would do a 50 50 mix, so doubt

you should figure out why/where it's losing the antifreeze before you start just adding every time it gets low. definately 50/50 mix, but you can purchase pre-mixed stuff, too.

if you go higher than 70% antifreeze, the mixture will be too thick and will cause the water pump and belt to wear out quicker, and will not pick up heat properly. you must "bleed" the cooling system afterward to purge air trapped in the manifold. Buy a repair manual to get teh proper bleed proceedure.
