my 98 grand cherokee now pulls to the left following the front differential being overalled. The steering wheels is no longer central . The wheels have been checked for alignment and are ok. Any ideas please.

Was your steering wheel centered before the work was done? Icant think what they did that would de center the steering wheel on the diff overhaul unless they changed some of the steering componets. The alignment shop should have been able to tell you why the steering is pulling to one side and recenter the steering wheel. Try another alignment shop or take it back to the shop where the diff was overhauled. Usally when the vechile pulls to one side is a low tire, brakes are dragging - caliper sticking or the alignment is out. Dont know how they would have done any thing except the brakes as the calipers dragging. Jack up the front end and see if both wheels turn freely esp the side that it pulls to. Could have a sticking caliper. Still cant figure the steering wheel.

Cheers , the garage has had it back and they had the alignment laser checked and found it was spot on. They cannot find anything wrong but it definately now pulls to the left. I am pretty sure the wheel was centred but I could be wrong. Thanks
