"94 deville no heat, just cold airstrmn94 11-25-2004, 05:04 PM HI there, new to these forums. I have a '94 Cadillac Sedan Deville, with the 4.9, that is loaded. here is the problem, I'm gettig no heat out of it. the fan works, but only blows cold air. I have the temp setting to the max, but that does not help. the only heat I am getting is from the heated windshield. I have checked the coolant level, and it is OK. wondering if there may be a problem with the climate control system causing this problem. the only thing I have done recently is replace the A/C compressor because the old one locked up the pully and the engine would not start. that was alot of fun to fix. now i have not had any refrigerant added since i replaced the compressor, will wait til spring since it is not needed at this time. only heat is needed. any ony one with some ideas would be helpful. Had the same problem with mine....'94 Deville 4.9 loaded. Fan would blow good but no heat. New heater core solve the problem. Got at AutoZone (cheap). Disconnected both hoses under hood. Disconnected air bag plug in back of glove box. Removed glove box. Disconnect actuator arm. Remove 2 screws from plenum. Open up plenum and there it is. Remove 2 screws and its out. Takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Blows hot air now. strmn94 01-15-2005, 10:53 PM Had the same problem with mine....'94 Deville 4.9 loaded. Fan would blow good but no heat.
