where is the IAT SENSOR ON 99 300M?. PLEASE HELP

I need to find out where the intake air temperature sensor is located on a 1999 300m. if you know where it is please let me know asap. if you have pictures even better.

Didja get an answer to your question yet? Here's what I found on another forum just now. I haven't yet gone to the garage to find the IAT but probably will tomorrow. If you've already done so, please reply back as to whether you found it where this info says it is:

The Charge Air Temperature Sensor is located on the intake manifold plenum under the engine cover in front of the Manifold Tuning Valve.

sounds difficult to get to. anyone have any tips on how to get to this censor on the intake manifold plenum under the engine cover in front of the manifold tuning valve?

The engine cover is that aluminum thing that says 3.5L 24 valve on it.
Held on with 4 torx head screws. The sensor is underneath, screwed into the plenum.
