im sorry for such a post, but i having trouble with this GMC oil plug.. i just got the car a few months ago.

i cant get the plug loose? which way does it turn?

please help.

counter-clockwise loosens, just like most fasteners.

One of the few exceptions I have found to be different was my vacuum fan blade (Hoover). It screwed off clockwise since the rotation of the fan was counter-clockwise.

Yip, counter-clock wise to take it out.
