GRK 11-23-2004, 07:43 PM I searched the forum for ADR Wheels. I didnt find much about them so what's the deal with these rims? Are they low quality? They are very cheap and im a guy with a tight budget so i was considering them for my eclipse. any expericence? Thanks! Gurkan clipsekid99 11-23-2004, 09:24 PM dont really know, but i love their styles. im definately gettin the SZ1's from them real_madridcf 11-23-2004, 09:29 PM When you mean they are cheap, what price range are you talking about. Also what is your price range, how much you willing to spend? I saw a few on ebay, they end at about 300-400 each and about 120 for shipping. Its prob gonna cost you 200 for wheels so your looking at about $600-$800. Thats not that cheap, i got my wheels for 800 w/ tires. I guess you need to explain your question a little more. So i thought id ask. I agree that adr wheels have some good style. Hope they are good quality too cause thats what im going for i guess 1stGenRocks 11-23-2004, 10:55 PM usually cheaper wheels will be okay. they will most likely be heavier then more expensive ones. $800 rota slipstreams weigh 8 pounds a wheel stock 1G wheels weigh 47 a wheel. wheel weight is a big factor for accelaration since wheels have almost 10? (somebody correct me if im wrong) times the effect that body/interior weight does, and losing interior weight 10 lbs feels like 1 hp GRK 11-24-2004, 09:07 AM Wow. Thats a great difference in weight you mentioned.. I think ill just pray that ADR wheels im looking for are lighter than my stock ones (95 gst) then :) BlackShadowTSi 11-27-2004, 01:37 AM When you mean they are cheap, what price range are you talking about. Actually i don't know any of both brands (ADR or VSR) but the price and the look are cool. What is weight of those rims? and wich one is the bigger tire you can put on one of them (225/45-17 or 235/45-17)? anarchy1114 11-27-2004, 02:34 AM http://www.scirocco16v.com/tech/wheelwieghts.htm this may help you in quest to find what type of rims you like and what they wiegh. hope this helps GRK 11-28-2004, 03:48 AM http://www.scirocco16v.com/tech/wheelwieghts.htm this may help you in quest to find what type of rims you like and what they wiegh. hope this helps Great link! tnx anarchy1114 11-28-2004, 04:39 AM yea not a problem.
