Any good Olds' mechanics in Colorado?doogieduff 11-22-2004, 05:08 PM I just bought a 2000 Alero used, and I live in Englewood, Co, and I was wondering if anyone knows a good mechanic that works on Olds' in Colorado? JTrujillo86 11-22-2004, 08:33 PM Congrats on your purchase...is it a V6 or I4? GX, GL, or GLS? Anyway, I've had my Alero for exactly a year now and everytime I've had it in, I've taken it to McCaddon's Buick-Cad-GMC-Oldsmobile in Boulder. My service advisor is Shiela Foley...they are all awesome there and are quick too. I've never had to have anything done twice; they know what they're doing. I can get you the number if you want. As for independent mechanics, I'm not sure. I only have the dealership work on my car. I'm sure you could take it to any good GM mechanic though, since both the V6 and I4's that come in the Alero's are used in other GM cars. If you want to stick to a dealer that is close to you, there is Don Massey Oldsmobile on I-25 and County Line Road. Other than these two, the only other Oldsmobile dealers in Colorado are Ralph Schomp in Brighton and Dellenbach in Fort Collins (which is where I take my car now since I'm in school up there). Jeremy doogieduff 11-24-2004, 09:33 PM Thanks Jeremy. You must go to CSU. Go ahead and give me that number. I work in Boulder, so that should work out. It is a V6. I've only ever owned Saab's, so I was very comfortable with who and where to take them and buy parts, but now I'm back at square one. The first thing I want to get fixed is the blinker/hazard problem, which I just found out is a recall. I've struggled with that for a while now, thinking it was related to my "car not starting until it was towed" problem, but I guess not. Thanks a lot for the help man. -Will JTrujillo86 11-26-2004, 01:15 PM Yeah, I do go to CSU. Anyway, that number is 303-442-3160. Ask for Shiela Foley...she's my service advisor. I hope you get everything fixed okay. Jeremy vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
