i jsut got a civic, which the previous owner got key by somebody. Now there is a staight line about 4 feet long. I was wondering if i can get a product that can remove the scratch or some kind of paint to cover it? Is there such a product?

touch up paint. Just browse down the automotive aisles in your local wal-mart.

"touch up paint" is it for all color or u need to get the same color for your car? i about to check at walmart and kragen

it depends on how deep the key mark is. If it isnt too deep, you might be able to clean it up to a point where its hardly noticeable. Mercedes has this special type of "crayon" that you just fill the scratch in. You can also use a specialized rubbing compound for clear coat to try and buff out as much of the stratch, then hit it with scratch remover to clean up what the rubbing compound left behind... then some wax or sealant to finish it up.

btw, I wouldnt recomend doing touch up paint. Its really hard to do it and make it look right.

Actually, I have an ideal... you can fill the scratch with touch up paint, then hit it with rubbing compound after that to smooth everything out... then clean it up with scratch remover and sealer.
