I am bummed, I bought this 91 240 SX SE coupe and want to keep it, but I thought my built up 89 Trans Am would have sold by now and bills are pilling up...

Its VERY impressive, no rust, great paint, SE model coupe!
Recent clutch, brakes, tuneup, coolant flush & high performance custom exhaust with SS Muffler, CAI, Racing pedals, Carbon fiber shifter, New driving/fog lites, Cold A/C! Rear spoiler, alloy wheels with speed rated tires.

Of course it has Heads up display, PW, PDL, Cruise, pw.mirrors, everything works!

Great Kenwood Sound system!
104k miles, runs better then new, no rust or leaks of any kind. Non smoker owner.

I don't want to sell her, but if the T/A doesn't soon, I will have to.
Asking $3,575. Comes with orig. owners manual too.
Located in Indy In. I have many pics/info for real buyers who could make it here. Call Doug 317-591-1100 Or find a buyer for my T/A! :)

I'd like to buy it, but that price is WAY too high for me and probably quite a few people.

Yeah, its tough to find them so clean & well serviced...Price isn't low, but well worth it for so much car.

Hey Drumpet15, I really don't want to sell this one at all, I looked for a long time to find one this nice, so she's a "keeper" but I might have to. (Hope not)

Tim: Sorry to hear about that...Glad your OK though.

I kinda have a bad Turbo bug...I have owned a 89 Porsche 944 Turbo S and a couple 2nd Gen RX-7 Turbo II's...One of my first loves back when I was young MANY years back was a 87 Conquest TSi...She was a sexy looking car, but very greedy when needing repairs, so I just got back from looking at another one, nice mods, good safe boost levels...I might be tempted there?
Note:
I also posted this on the car sales board here at Car Forums that I had made a mistake. This car does NOT have A/C at all, not from the factory.( I had posted it did) It also does NOT have a Sunroof, making it I would think one of the lightest & tightest 240 SX "SE's" made...(I was thinking of my 89 T/A that has cold A/C) sorry for any misunderstanding guys.

D-Bo...Sorry you feel that way...
I do have a business, that HELPS consumers get outstanding VALUE...But as I mentioned, the 240 SX SE is mine...Usually people with these cars are nicer then you...But I won't go off on what I think of people who don't think before posting...

i didn't say it wasn't yours, i just don't like people who spam these forums to try to make business.. we don't try to sell cars here. we learn about them and how we can make them better

Thanks, yeah I really like her...I always prefered the coupes to the hatchbacks, but thats just my opinion.

Too make matters worse, I haven't driven my 89 T/A for over 3 weeks now and went out to fire her up yesterday and the battery was too low to start UGH!
It sounds like we might be getting snow soon...so double UGH!
I am orig. from Michigan, and have taken this 91 240 SX SE up there many times, so I know it would easily make the "Road trip"...
If I sell my T/A I am planning on taking this 240 out to see my brother this winter in Az...Now THATS a road trip! ha ha....

Hey Twitch24,
I am not sure how mutch it would cost to ship? Maybe $350-$450? I would guess? You can always check with shipping company's, they have many online you could price from Indy In. zip code 46220 to you.
I would just get a buddy and make a road trip down if you really wanted to.
Those are all the pics I have of my car now...
Its been so cold & rainy here lately...Maybe the weather will break & I can get some more soon.

price is a tad high, i got my 91 se blown motor for $800, and i thought that was a little high (and it has sunroof and etc.). running 240's absolutely don't go higher than 2500 unless they are in immaculate condition. the car is 14 years old for christ sakes, my 95 maxima costed 2300.

Autofreefindersguy
11-27-2004, 09:34 AM
Yes, I agree, that is a tad high to pay for one without a engine...Also a good sign the owner didn't take care of the car...

Its hard to compair cars that are this old...
Mine has recent or New: clutch, tuneup, coolant change, exhaust, brakes, fog lites, $600 Kenwood stereo system, tires, oil change and service records to prove it. and more...Obviously one that has been very well serviced with not a single dot of rust...

Most serious drivers prefer one not to have a sunroof...No leaks or creaks or rattles...When you see a new car is $30,000 plus, a very well serviced RELIABLE 240 SX makes a great VALUE! (orig.owners manual included) ;)
