i have a grand cherokee 96 4.0 and the oil pressure is normal when the engine is cold. when the engine come at normal temperature the oil pressure go from 3.2 to 2 psi. please help....

Are the numbers you gave from off your dash gauge???

Is the cold pressure 3.2 and hot pressure 2???

If they are, and the increments are the same as mine, then the units are in BAR or approximatly 14 psi per BAR.

Hopefully this is what is actually happening.

Those pressures would be normal for idle speeds - same as mine.

At highway speeds, pressure is right on 3 BAR when warm.

yes the sound is normal. sometimes the pressure is at 2 when i go with 40 or 50 km/h
