Pardon the stupid question from a stupid person, but I have a 02 T&C and have up till now, loved it. Similar to other postings, it started making a whining sound. Took it to a dealer and was told that it was the AC Clutch and Coil. Having some insight into AC problems in the past, I purchased the extended warranty with the vehicle, but was told it would only cover the AC Compressor and not the clutch and coil. Aren’t these similar? Have other had the same problem? Advice?

yes it's kind of stupid. They will cover the ac compressor but not the clutch and coil. If you need to replace the clutch and coil you can get these seperate, but if you need to replace only the compressor it already comes with the clutch and coil...I have experienced this in the past I don't know why is it this way...
