Power Door - Pollwoodgab 11-16-2004, 11:01 AM Just curious about experiences with them, particularly the '01 and latter models. Generally speaking, do most: 1 - Find that they work reliably 2 - Find they work sporadically 3 - Find they only work above 20, 30, 40, 50 degrees (Far.) I've got flakey doors on a newly purchased '01 and don't know if it is going to be futile to aggressively pursue their reliable operation. It goes in for what will likely be its only dealer visit (remote seller, also Chy dealer, is picking up the tab) on Thursday, 11/18/04. Should I be wary of the "computer fix"? They pop, but don't open and don't reliably close, either. Thanks, Chris PS - Its a Town & Country stevew001 11-17-2004, 08:25 PM Just curious about experiences with them, particularly the '01 and latter models. Thanks, Chris PS - Its a Town & Country The Doors on My 2001 Grand Voyager have work 100% reliably for the last 6 months since I purchased the van. Note that each door is opened about 4 times a day. Last week one door started to 'pop' but not engage the motor to drive it back! - Not sure how to fix this yet but it has been getting colder! Steve P.S. What computer fix ? woodgab 11-26-2004, 07:49 AM Bump. Anybody else reading this who has power doors? Just looking to get a sence of whether its worth pursuing, or if these things have been flawed since the beginning. I gave my experience in another thread. Needless to say they don't work, yet, for us. More replies would be appriciated. Thanks Chris PS - I read of one person's experience of a shop "reprogramming" some module for the doors. That was the "computer fix" I mentioned. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
