Will any other GM parts fit Venture?

I am in the process of locating a couple of steel stock rims for my Venture that I can mount snow tires to for the winter. I have called around my area in an attempt to locate 2 used rims with no luck. I would like to know if any other GM vehicle's rims will fit a Venture. I was wondering if the older Lumina or Transport minivan rims would work, or a GM midsize sedan like the Grand Prix or Impala. Any input would be appreciated.

I'm fairly sure those rims would fit. I used to have a 94 S-10 & I'm using the 15" rims/snowtires off that on my 2000 Venture. And for a short time, I was running the 14" rims/tires off my old 79 Malibu on the 94 S-10...so it would stand to reason that the 14" wheels off the 79 Malibu would also work on the Venture.

15" wheels off a full size GM truck/van will NOT work. I have a couple off an 88 Chevy full sized van & the bolt hole layout doesn't match up.

When in doubt, compare the bolt layout. If I remember the measurements correctly (don't quote me on these), the center hole diameter is 2.75", the distance between 2 bolt holes is 2.75", & the distance between 3 bolt holes is 4.5"

I ran this by a mechanic friend of mine and he couldn't see how the rims off the S-10 and Malibu would fit, being that those are rear wheel drive, while the Venture is front wheel drive. I thought that you couldn't use rims from a R.W.D. vehicle on the front of a F.W.D. vehicle?

Yea, I gotta apologize about what I wrote.

Although the Malibu & S-10 wheels swapped back & forth, neither of them will fit the Venture. The snowtires from the S-10 were remounted onto different wheels. Just for the hell of it, when I had a wheel off the other day, I rolled out one of the wheels I had leftover from S-10...it wouldn't go on...the bolt hole patterns are different.

Sorry about that :(
