Can you add seats to make it 8 pass?

I know we'd have to buy a middle and outboard 2nd row seats and probably an outboard shoulder belt but is it possible? We have great financing on our 2003 Venture but I need 8 pass.
Thanks Jodi

I have the fold down independent seats, if you know what I mean. and they only seat 7. This is from door to door in the second row and wheel well to wheel well on the back row. Astros have seating for 8.

I just bought a 1999 Venture Extended with 8 seats. I believe the same holds through 2004 models. The Ventures can be fitted with 8 seats. You just have to make sure you find the right ones. They actually specify 2ndRow Left/Rear Left, 2nd Row Middle or left, and 2nd Row Right/Rear Right. Each seat will have the appropriate seat belt arrangements. You may have to check ebay, but I've checked already...no luck. Or check junk yards.

Good luck.

Thank you, I was hoping it was possible. I think finacially it makes more sense for us to do that rather than buy a new vehicle. We have very few miles on ours and 0% fin. but we haven't owned it long enough to get a decent trade. I'll keep checking Ebay.

I check eBay daily, and one of my searches is "Chevrolet Venture", and i have rarely seen seats available for these vehicles on that site. You might have better luck searching some of the seller's eBay stores as some of these sellers are salvage yards and may have them for sale but not on the auction site. You might try e-mailing some of these sellers asking if they have any seats available. Of the seats I have seen for sale on eBay, the shipping cost is extremely high so be prepared for that if you cannot pick them up nearby. Another source for the seats would be to do a Google search. Use words like " Chevrolet Venture passenger seats" or something similar. This would bring up places like salvage yards, and possibly dealerships that have seats available for sale. I have used the Google search for items for my Venture and have had great luck in locating the items i need. A lot of the high-end salvage yards do a large volume of business online and have a fast turnover of items. If they do not have it, they can do a nationwide locator search with linked yards across the country in an attempt to locate them for you. Good luck.

Before you buy something that expensive, go to your local dealer, find a friend, or do anything to find the seats of an 8 pass. to make absolutely SURE that they will fit in your van. The reason being that the cleats to the seats may not match up with the floor holds in your van. I have not tried it, nor have I heard of anyone that has tried it, but you need to try it before you buy it. If your dealer is nice enough, or if you have a friend that woks there, I'm sure that they would have no problem letting you borrow their seats for about ten minutes.
Come to think of it, I should take a trip down to my dealer to see if they would fit in mine. I have the seven independent seats. I'll let you know how it turns out later if you let me know. Have a great day!

If the anchorage brackets are in there ,and I saw a 2004 at a dealer with 7 pass and the anchorages for 8 are there you can replace the 2 middle captains with 3 buckets.
