I just got my car back from 4 weeks in the shop getting body work and new paintjob from when a fat old retarded guy hit me head on, and i have noticed that my car's clutch is a lot different than all of the other cars i have been driving. The catch point is about an inch off hte floor as opposed to catching around 4 or 5 inches off like all the others have been. I never reallynoticed this until i didnt drive my car for a month so i am wondering if this is normal or if the clutch could be burnt or burning out. Any info is appreciated.

Avoid adjusting the pedal rod until its your last resort. Its set at the factory and shouldnt have to be touched. I would bleed it first, and see if that helps. And bleed it properly, its amazing how many people (including mechanics) that cant do it well. Its not hard, you just have to be sure all the air is out.
