Does anyone know what my driver side rear tire rattles when I go over bumps. Fixed the brakes and that stopped it for awhile but it started up again and stops when I hit the brakes. Really don't want to spend more money to get new back brakes again. Mechanic said when I got my brakes fixed that a pin was stuck. Really appreciate any help. Thanx

Wouldn't doubt that it was the rear strut mount(s). The rubber gets bad after a while.

If it has 4 whl disc brakes, the caliper is probably siezed and the pads are not staying seated against the rotor, and some anti-rattle hardware might have come off.

that's another good thought. The stock rear disc calipers on pre-95 w-body cars are absolute junk, unless you use the parking brake all the time.

since it's a Euro, it probably has a rear stabilizer bar. The end bushings mount with a bracket to the rear struts, and when they get worn out, they will rattle when you go over bumps. Another common issue is the rubber pads at the ends of the transverse leaf springs. When they get worn out, they allow the end of the spring to rub against the suspension, which will cause a rattle.

Thanks for all the info. And is that something I should worry about and get fixed soon or is it ok to let it be for awhile. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do to fix this problem.
