Checking a car for flood damagefredjacksonsan 11-10-2004, 04:32 PM Hey all-- On a purchase of a used vehicle, what are the signs you're looking for to see if the vehicle has been damaged or submerged in a flood? I know the obvious things, checking the gauges, underneath the doors, and I'm getting a CARFAX report. But what other indicators should I check for? Thanks for commentary. However, if it has been submerged and repaired properly, it should be fine. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
