What would you suggest a cartoon or actual drawing of his car? HighOctaneNOSUser 11-10-2004, 09:25 PM I like Kartoons. They are fun, easy, and usually turn out better. bullynj 11-10-2004, 09:31 PM I'm really hoping someone can help me out here I'm glad I found this site with all you talented guys! :iceslolan My husband will be thrilled :) KustmAce 11-10-2004, 09:57 PM Yah he does, his name is z24it25 its Ed Kline. Are you a member of .org? Ya, ive got the same same as I do here. And as for drawing or toon, I would say both. I will draw a cartoon. Then put it in/on the computer if you like. Though a handdrawn might be cooler, IMO. And I will be starting on it tonight. And no, I didnt do that toon on my page. The guy who did it for me is a member here, but he hasnt posted in a long time. His name is Danny, and his sn is KARTOONZ. BTW, your husbands profile says "Transformation coming" under Future. Can I ask what he may be up to? bullynj 11-11-2004, 09:07 AM Hi! Good morning :) The "transformation" was plans to have the suspension redone with bags instead of cyclinders, change his wheels and get a paint job. I dont know if he will be doing that now he hasnt updated his profile on there in a while :) Can you email me direct ? Fran@marragency.com Thanks!! bullynj 11-12-2004, 03:11 PM Hey Kustmace, I just wanted to be sure you were still going to help me out, I havent seen any emails from you and I private msged you a few days ago with no response :/ Just let me know please! I'll give it a shot. This Cavalier is NICE. I don't do cartoons though but I will make a drawing of it...post it here and see what you think...if you don't like it that's ok...I still need the practice and this ride is a good challenge!!!!! http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/253357My_68_Drawing.jpg SWEET CHEVY TOYS chevelle_1 11-17-2004, 09:58 PM I just wanted to show you a sample I'm doing for a customer that gave me this picture to draw. He only wanted this one in pencil. Nice Impala!!!! http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/253357Impala.jpg KustmAce 11-17-2004, 11:01 PM Hey Frannie, I just wanted to let you know I havent forgotten about you! I have just been loosely sketching out ideas, and thought Id update you with the best style, I think, so far: http://img69.exs.cx/img69/8887/11-17-12.jpg Mind you this took about 10 minutes, and I was referencing the pic from the screen, so it was harder. Anyway, I thought with a little refinement, that could be a good way to go. Anyway, let me know what you think. coffinfeeder 11-18-2004, 05:17 AM KustmAce that toon is the tooontassticck i wanted to draw some thin so i drew this car. looks better on paper tho http://images5.theimagehosting.com/pimp23.th.jpg (http://server5.theimagehosting.com/image.php?img=pimp23.jpg) this direct link resises auto http://images5.theimagehosting.com/pimp23.jpg bullynj 11-18-2004, 12:02 PM Hey Kustmace, Looks good! Can you lower the wing a little tiny bit? Thats the only thing I'd ask for you to change ... besides that it looks good ... is it going to be in blue, or is that just the color you sketched it in? You guys are so damn impressive! haha And coffinfeeder your detail to the front end looks good, at first when I looked at the car I thought it was a civic hehe but the body kit design looks exactly like whats on his car ;) :) Jeep_Rubicon 11-18-2004, 03:35 PM kustmace, that looks cool. HighOctaneNOSUser 11-19-2004, 10:22 AM Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, but I took a, ahem, vacation. Anyway, I will still do one if you like. I can do a cartoon one. Then, you can pick the one you like best. I think. None of us get too offended if someone likes another persons drawings better. That is why we have contests. We can openly say " I like his way better" and the other don't flip out. Anyway, just a brief history of AF S&D Section. If you have chosen one already, fine, if not, I'd be glad to do one. bullynj 11-19-2004, 10:26 AM Feel free to draw one i'd love to see it , I think I'm going to end up with all of them  haha ... I am subscribing to this thread so whenever you guys are ready let me know ... I'm hoping to have it in the mail to me by the first week of December so I can get a frame and be ready for xmas :) .... Again thanks! Frannie HighOctaneNOSUser 11-19-2004, 01:58 PM Well, I'll see what I can do....PS, Kustm, the back wheel looks a little strange, might wanna look into that... KustmAce 11-19-2004, 07:19 PM Well, I'll see what I can do....PS, Kustm, the back wheel looks a little strange, might wanna look into that... How so? HighOctaneNOSUser 11-19-2004, 09:38 PM The angle seems to be a bit off... No, no, that's not it, I think it might be the wheel is a little "square"....and the rim seems a bit off.... lemorris 11-19-2004, 10:54 PM nice job Kustom! Your 10 minute sketch will make a great drawing. I wouldn't sweat any part of it at this point. It's a sketch. Your work always comes out great. Roll with it. bullynj 11-20-2004, 09:05 AM nice job Kustom! Your 10 minute sketch will make a great drawing. I wouldn't sweat any part of it at this point. It's a sketch. Also, what does it say on the windshield? Thanks. BTW, as of right now, it looks a million times better than that sketch, if I do say so myself. bullynj 11-30-2004, 09:34 AM Hey, do you think you could get me a close up of one of the wheels and one of the mirrors? Also, what does it say on the windshield? Thanks. BTW, as of right now, it looks a million times better than that sketch, if I do say so myself. Ok on the lower windshield it says ADR Design And as far as pics, here is the best place to go theres tons of pics. If you need more let me know and I'll go out and shoot pics when hes not looking. LOL hahaha http://members.tripod.com/z24it25/edmain.htm HighOctaneNOSUser 11-30-2004, 07:02 PM He's selling it? What a shame? Maybe I am not paying attention, but did you mention that? KustmAce 11-30-2004, 10:23 PM He's selling it? What a shame? Maybe I am not paying attention, but did you mention that? Ya, since when was he selling it? And damn, i kinda really wish I had an extra 9500 laying around... bullynj 12-01-2004, 09:47 AM He was selling it at one point and thats why that site was made. He wants to get an older car like a 68 camaro and he was goin to sell the cav to get that, but we put it on ebay and the highest bid he got was like 6800 or something, so he just decided to keep it because the air ride thats on it was 4k alone so I dont think he'd get rid of it anyway hehe subyfanatic 12-01-2004, 11:49 AM To those wanting a better picture of the wheels on the Cavalier here it is: http://www.adrwheels.com/php/aw.view.image.php?src=/sfImages.large/202.jpg Fran, I sent you a quick CARtoon sketch via e-mail. I can also do realism if you prefer. Let me know. Eric KustmAce 12-01-2004, 07:22 PM I sent you a quick CARtoon sketch via e-mail. I can also do realism if you prefer. Let me know. Eric Post it! subyfanatic 12-01-2004, 08:11 PM Here is the freehand sketch I did during lunch at work today, on 8.5 x 11 copy paper. Pencil sketch was about 15 minutes, I used ball point pen and black Sharpie for the outline and shading. Total time was about 35 minutes. I don't have a scanner so I had to take a picture of it. http://www.directimagehost.com/is.php?i=77102&img=CartoonCavy_mini.JPG HighOctaneNOSUser 12-01-2004, 09:05 PM Looks sweet, Suby, Very nice. KustmAce 12-02-2004, 02:04 AM All I have left is the windows and the wheels. Ill try and post it before the weekend. I assume you want it before Christmas, if you decide you want mine, right? HighOctaneNOSUser 12-02-2004, 08:41 AM Yeah, that's what she said earlier, so I am going to asume that. bullynj 12-02-2004, 09:16 AM Hey Guys!!! Eric .... :iceslolan :iceslolan There are no words to describe how I feel about that drawing ... hehe It was for Xmas yes :D   I got a drawing done by Kartoonz so that one is going to go above Eds bar, but the other is probally going to end up in our living room :/ HAHA .... Or both will knowing him haha subyfanatic 12-02-2004, 04:12 PM Here's the revised Cavalier with RO_JA Wheels and visible interior. http://www.directimagehost.com/is.php?i=77215&img=CartoonCavy2small.jpg HighOctaneNOSUser 12-02-2004, 04:48 PM I like the new one, so finish that one (Give a full rear end....) Jeep_Rubicon 12-02-2004, 09:47 PM cool stuff subyfanatic 12-02-2004, 10:27 PM I like the new one, so finish that one (Give a full rear end....) Yeah, the drawing was a victim of "notenoughpaperitis". I began sketching it and liked the lines too much that I figured I'd go ahead and finish it. To make it worse the HP scanner at work cut off a little more from the edge. It's only a sample, the finished drawing will be done on much bigger paper and in color. Eric HighOctaneNOSUser 12-02-2004, 11:35 PM Kool. Yeah I am accustomed to the disease. I have also run into PencilLeadisOutis, CattisGottisThePaperitis, and ICompletelyForgotHowToDraw Syndrome. Scary stuff.. KustmAce 12-03-2004, 08:17 PM Here's the revised Cavalier with RO_JA Wheels and visible interior. http://www.directimagehost.com/is.php?i=77215&img=CartoonCavy2small.jpg Kinda looks like mine :grinno: Which also means it looks really good! Skribble.designs 12-21-2004, 01:05 PM It's a damn shame I live in Australia. If not I would be over there like right now, buying that car. Just something about it, I can't stop staring at the pics. Only problem. Would have to convert it to right side driving. Damn Shame. I love that car. Who did you choose by the way? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
