I know that a lot of people really hate the clear tail lights.... but how about feelings on the carbon fiber ones? Do they look very good on a black civic?

It's all about intergration, how cleanly the lines flow. Most people throw chrome tails on a car they have no business being on, especially color wise. For example, chrome on a black car. Doesn't flow at all, doesn't intergrate at all!!!

If you have you're heart set on Altezza style lights, it certianly would look better on a black car than chrome would, that is for certain. Depending on the tailight style, carbon fiber could look alright. It is certainly better than the chrome ones.

Depends like eckoman said. If your going for the Carbon Fiber look, then they will be perfect. But if you have lets say, a bright copper civic and it has chrome rims, accesories and whatnot, carbong fiber tails would look that great. But a Carbon Fiber hood and Tail and some carbon vent on a bodykit are asking for them.

Black IS300's/altezzas come with a smoked chrome taillight, which I think looks nice. CF would look ok... I just think the whole "checkered" pattern/CF immitation is a bit cheap and tacky. But then again, there are some CF fakes that look really good and clean.
