Scan Codes P1381,P0125, P1131sbest737 11-06-2004, 08:24 PM Just thought I would ask if anyone could help me out on this. I have taken my car in 3 times since April with my check engine light on. The codes I listed are what has come up. Today I took it in again, and only P0125 came on, but it has come one twice now along with the P1381 code. My car is lugging every once in a while and jerked real hard today. Any suggestions on what this could be? I will read the other responses on the P1131 code. I don't know anything about cars, and right now, don't trust it to drive too far. ANy advice would be helpful Thanks! beyondloadedSE 11-06-2004, 10:02 PM Thread on the P1381 code (http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=trouble&Number=282340&Forum=trouble&Words=p1381&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=1year&Main=282340&Search=true#Post282340) P0125 Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel P1131 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 1. The sensor is monitered for switching, it fails to switch when circuit or fuel excedes a calibrated limit. Here the possible causes - short to VPWR is harness - Water in harness - short/open circuit - corrison or bad wiring - damaged O2 sensor - damaged PCM - excessive fuel pressure - leaking injectors - leaking fuel pressure regulator - car is almost out of fuel - air leaks after MAF - vacuum leak - PCV system - engine oil dipstick not seated - EGR valve gasket leaking - stuck EGR valve - leaking diaphram or EVR - oil overfilled - cam timing is off - cylinder compression - exhaust leak near the O2 sensor By looking at the causes for the P1131 code, Id say your P1381 cel could be the culprit for this. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
