88 Town Car Fuel Filter location

I know it's on the fuel line behind the driver's side rear wheel attached to the chassis. But i've looked EVERYWHERE there and THINK i found the fuel line, but nothing that looks like what might be the fuel filter. Can anyone let me know what I'm looking for?? Maybe a little description? Thanks!

Hey man. The fuel filter is under the passenger side rear door its inside of a plastic casing thats bolted onto the frame. Its pretty easy to find, its just that you were looking on the wrong side. (at least this is where it is on my 87)

Thanks for the info. I saw that and thought that's what it was. But AutoZone.com told me it was on the other side of the car. Thanks...
