GS-R from private seller?IWITR 11-05-2004, 01:27 AM Buying GS-R from private seller good or bad? because i want a GS-R so bad and only private seller has it. i just wanna know if its good to buy it from a private or should i just wait until dealership gets one? what would you guys do? thanx again guys thank you so much!! integralover 11-05-2004, 03:42 AM when you go through a private seller you get to see the person at hand that drove the car. talk with them and get a feel for how they treated the car. can't do that at a dealership. when i bought my teg i got it from a private seller. it was from some older lady that had a company car and really did not need hers. now if i went to a dealer i would not have known that. and most dealerships only warranty the car for the manufacturer's warranty. i say get it. meet the person. get a feel for how they treated it. b18ls 11-05-2004, 11:37 AM The biggest bonus with a private seller is NO MARKUP. You should pay less for a car in a private party sale, than you would if you bought the same car from a dealer. Not that the dealers are ripping you off or anything. They just have to mark up the value to cover advertiseing, maintanace, ect, ect. kornflakes28546 11-05-2004, 11:52 AM when you go through a private seller you get to see the person at hand that drove the car. talk with them and get a feel for how they treated the car. can't do that at a dealership. when i bought my teg i got it from a private seller. it was from some older lady that had a company car and really did not need hers. now if i went to a dealer i would not have known that. and most dealerships only warranty the car for the manufacturer's warranty. i say get it. meet the person. get a feel for how they treated it. :iagree: IWITR 11-06-2004, 05:32 AM thanx guys vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
