Anti-Lock Brake Stays On

The light stays on after starting car. All efforts to get light to go off have failed. My brakes work good. Don't really need the ABS. My problem is that car will not pass inspection (UK MOT) with this light on. Is there anyway I can get light to remain off. I can pull fuse, but odometer and other dash lights/sensors will not work. I only need temporary fix to pass inspection. Any suggestions?

Check ABS sensors on front wheel hub assemblys to see if there is any moisture getting in them. That was a problem i had found when the same thing had happend to my 96. Try adding some Di-electric grease to the female end before putting back together.
