Factory Fit Speaker Boxes?bkohne1 10-31-2004, 11:24 PM Can anyone tell me if there is a place that sells factory fit speaker boxes for a 96 blazer. I just bought my blazer and want to install my system but i dont want to take up my cargo area. I have seen alot of sites that sell them but nobody seems to have anything for a blazer. If i cant find one i will probably build my own over the passenger side wheelwell. Not alot of time though so i would rather just buy one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BlazerLT 11-01-2004, 03:42 PM If you don't want to take up the cargo area I would take advantage of the spaces behind the rear wheel wells in the back cargo area with a custom made set of boxes. One on each side. Trail Blazin96 11-01-2004, 06:21 PM call the chevy house to get the exact one that goes there! bkohne1 11-01-2004, 07:39 PM What is the Chevy house? clariveros 11-02-2004, 01:45 PM Why dont you make the box yourself, some people have 2 12" in the cargo area in a box that resembles a single cab truck box, I mean skinny and something like a long trianle, and they have enough room to spare, also what size speakers do you wan to put in, i have seen in car shows where they had 15" subs in the cargo area only that they had them fire downwards, so basically they created a "raised floor" for the cargo area, with the subs amps and capacitors underneath, it looked real nice. bkohne1 11-02-2004, 10:27 PM If you read my original post I stated I did not want to take up ANY of the cargo area. I want to find or build one that fits nicely behind the passenger side wheel well and then blend it in to look factory. I dont need 15's, im not going to go in any competitions or anything like that. Just nice and simple and maybee a little loud.(ok...alot loud, but i still dont want 15"s) Trail Blazin96 11-07-2004, 03:24 PM What is the Chevy house? Chevy House! The Dealer!!!! You know where you buy the new auto's. bkohne1 11-08-2004, 07:30 PM Oh I c...lol :screwy: BlazerLT 11-08-2004, 08:23 PM  JoulesWinfield 11-09-2004, 05:14 PM Go to http://www.jlaudio.com/stealthbox/blazer.html This is the only one that I know of. There expensive, but I used the extended cab 2 10 box in my old truck and I sounded perfect. No intrusion at all. You may be able to find one used on Ebay or something. That is perfect, nice find BRO!! Man, that would just be the shit and would still sound great. JoulesWinfield 11-10-2004, 11:41 AM Hey, thanks BlazerLT. You wont get a ton of base from one 10", but I think its just what the doctor ordered. I personally care more about going to the extreme, f-cargo space. I have 3 12" W6s running 700 watts in the back of mine. :evillol: Its a little :screwy: , but I cant help myself. BlazerLT 11-10-2004, 02:20 PM One ten is properly installed and using a proper box will deafen you just like the rest. bkohne1 11-10-2004, 08:54 PM That is exactly what I was looking for!!!!!Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!!!!!!!! :lol2: :lol2:  :grinno: :smokin: BlazerLT 11-10-2004, 09:00 PM I kinda like it myself. Wish they made one for the other side too. bkohne1 11-11-2004, 07:54 PM I called jl audio about that box and they said that box with the 10 " sub is $475.00! There is no way in hell i will be buying that, but the picture gives me a good idea of how to build my own. So thanks for the help anyway. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
