Lincoln Town Car Front Seat - back cover replacement

The cover to the back of my front seat popped of and the plastic clips broke. I have purchased a new seat back cover but it does not just snap on. Does anyone have any experience replaceing the cover?

What year is that? Mine don't have "seat back covers".
