I had an intake manifold gasket replaced. Thank goodness found because of this site and saved lots of money. Well the next day, my engine light went on and I smelled something funny. Brought my van back in next day. They said it was a code po440 that I left the gas cap loose. Ok fine, no charge. When I went to sign the papers and pick up the van. I noticed a paper I obviously was not suppose to see. It said in handwriting that "Evaporation Purge Line was loose on Purge Valve! Causing the code & smell!" Even had the exclaimation points so the manager must have been upset with the service guy. It was clearly that they didnt tighten up or whatever when they replaced the intake manifold. But why cant they just be honest and write the truth on our papers in the first place instead of making the customers crazy?? Sorry it just gets me so angry. You cant trust anyone and have to question everyone. Thanks for letting me vent.
