The 87 was built in Japan and the 92 in Georgetown, KY. For years I tried to believe the 87 was a better car but I finally had to admit that the 92 was, in fact, better. It had less maintenance, etc., etc. than the 87. I loved them both but they've since been replaced with a Land Rover product and an 03 Camry. So far, both of these vehicles have been running fine. nipsirc 10-29-2004, 08:53 AM The one made in USA is better. Why? Because they have factored in the harsh climate, weather and road conditions specifically for North America like the exhaust pipes, mufflers, tires, radiators, fenders, etc. If you're in Japan and you're using this "Made in Japan" in Japan, then you're also better off with japanese made camry. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
