Stock Si vs. Turbo'd ex 7lbs stock internals (<--can it handle 7? if not 6)
Drivers with equal ablity.
just drag 1/4 mile.

I would say turbo'd ex.

(I didin't put this in car comparison becasue i think you guys would know more)

The EX with 7lbs will be putting around 175 WHP, much more than a stock Si is pulling. Stock Sis pull 140 WHP on the dyno, so the EX takes it pretty easily no doubt about it.

Compare a turbo EX 7lbs against an Integra Type R or RSX-S. I think thats somewhat fair.

I think that Turbo EXs using the greddy kit pushing 7 psi run 14.5 - 14.9 at sea level.

An RSX-S runs 14.9 - 15.0
Same as a Type R.

So probably a tad faster.

Put it this way. A stock EX with I/H/E and minor weight reduction can take an Si with a good driver. Ive done it, ive witnessed it.

I once beat a guy with an Si with 17 inch rims stock, with a 2003 Stock White EX coupe.

I've never seen an rsx type s dip into 14's.. I've seen plenty of them run mid 15's at best.

i thought that the rsx would win the 1/4 mile because its got 200 hp compared to a turbod ex with like u sed 175. maybe the difference in weights would cause enough of a lag but i doubt it

fyi the weights of the ex is 2513 and then add some for the turbo and the rsx-s is 2840. now on some thread i heard that its like 10hp for every 100 ponds of weight. if this is correct the rsx-s would have around 170hp and the turbod ex would have about 175. as previousy stated it would be a close race but if drivers are equal i change my previious statement and go with the EX. even tho in my opinion comparing a turbod car to a stock car is pretty sad
