There must ba an easier way to arrange cross-country car shipment.BurlyBob 10-26-2004, 03:32 PM With the popularity of the internet cross-country and international car sales seem to be booming. I recently had the experience of selling a vehicle to a gentleman in Australia and had to arrange shipping from my home in the midwest to California. The buyer handled arrangements from California to Australia. And now once again I am faced with the cross-country shipping process for a couple of parties interested in vehicles I have for sale. One is in Maryland and one in Alabama. I have been on the phone all day and I just don't seem to be making much progress. Somebody should come up with a shipping guide on a websight to assist people with car shipping headaches. A site such as YesterdaysTractors.com Hauling Schedule page could serve as a guide. There you can post what tractor you wish to have hauled, where it is going and point of origin. Take that idea and create a site dedicated to the shippment of vehicles, that would be useful to many buyers and sellers. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
