Excellent body style (I like the 68-74), excellent engine. Question, is it a L88 motor?

sounds like a nice set-up. The engine could possibly be worth a decent amount to a collector or someone looking to restore a corvette. If it has the stock intake and the #s match on the block and heads, you might be able to sell it and build yourself a 454 with more power for the same $$.

L-88 has aluminum heads (I think) and mine are metal. I was told that the berings have 69 vette stamped on them

holds the hood up, just a good place to store it.

I have the hood springs but I think it may buckle the fiberglass cowll hood. Im looking for something to install like the hydralic hood springs you see in newer cars.

original was a 307...Ill keep the 427, even tho it would be worth more with the 307 I think ...it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. Thanks, I think Ill go wax it. and listen to it roar.
