A week ago my low beams went on my drivers side. Replaced the headlight and it was working fine. Two days later the passenger side low beams went. Replaced the headlight and now the low beam on the passenger side won't work at all, the drivers side is still working fine since the headlight was replaced. The fuses are fine. The high beams work fine on both sides. Put the new headlight from the drivers side into the passenger side to see if the low beams would work and they didn't. Put it back into the drivers side and it was working. Why would one side work and the other not? Help!!!!!

Never mind, the car went to the mechanic. Turned out it was a broken wire. Being that the headlights close and open with the little doors that pop open when the lights are turned on, from opening and closing, the wire broke to the low beam on the passenger side. The wires were more than likely as old as the car...17 years. So, if anyone has headlights where the low beam isn't working, it is more than likely a broken wire unless of course you just need new lamps.
