oil in spark plugsbb4 10-24-2004, 11:00 PM hey i got a question. would anyone know how motor oil is getting inside my spark plugs? and how i would fix that. need help badly. G3_preludeSI 10-24-2004, 11:26 PM is it getting in the spark plug hole? if so replace the valve cover seal, and all the spark plug hole seals and make sure u have the valve cover down tight bb4 10-25-2004, 01:25 AM yup in the spark plug holes. i'm just confuse how the oil will make it self in there. thanks budd drmeyers2001 10-25-2004, 01:26 AM yeah...I had the same problem awhile ago. The rubber seals around the spark plug holes are your problem most likely bb4 10-25-2004, 01:28 AM yea i change the seals around the spark plugs its not that.. its something else..humm confuse G3_preludeSI 10-25-2004, 09:21 PM if its not that then the valve cover isnt down hard enough, thats the only way that could happen bb4 10-26-2004, 08:34 AM NOPE none of that works butt guess what i found out what the problem was. it was the O-ring gasket from the ROCKER ARM. it was too old so i replaced all four and now it runs perfectly fine thanks to all for the help.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
